Hi everyone ! Welcome to our new "Nuestrafamilia" Blog. This blog is created for the purpose of keeping in touch with one another as we each travel through the mazes of our hectic, daily schedules.
Nuestrafamilia is about our family and whatever goes on in our lives - good, bad, or anything that we care to share with one another.
Papa's greatest wish was to keep our family together and united and with the help of all the amazing modern technology available to us, we can honor his wish and keep tabs with each other and stay united and together if not in person, through the services of the Internet.
There's more to come! Stay tuned.
Great, Eva, this truly is a magical way of bringing the family together much like Papa wanted us to be. Who knew this modern and advanced technology would become our connection to all our family and friends! I think the Church is aware of this tremendous electronical help with all the websites created for us to use and communicate with one another, especially on the Church level.
ReplyDeleteYOUR'E AWESOME EVA! You are such a inspiration of how to get things done. You don't let anything stop you because if you don't know anything about it you will learn! Papa would be proud of you for keeping our families connected with this blog you created. Thank you Connie
ReplyDeleteHola
ReplyDeleteHello Family!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all who have signed on - we have so much to catch up. Not so much about us "old fogies" (those of us over 65) but mostly for our children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, so on and so on. Let us know where you are and what you're doing. Some of you are going to school, newly married, starting families, serving our country, serving church missions, starting careers, etc. And with the help of the internet at our fingertips, and all those tiny, fancy gadgets people are sporting around now-a-days, we can successfully keep great communication with each other.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of those tiny fancy gadgets, they remind me of the time when I was a wide-eyed, bushy-tailed 16 year old teenager and could hardly wait to learn how to drive a car. When I enrolled for Driver's Ed at Mesa High School, I took to driving a car like a fish takes to water. And at that time, my poor mother was also trying with all her might to learn how to drive but it terrified her so much that she gave up and never did learn how. And I simply could not understand what was so difficult about it but after all these years, Mama, I realize what you were going through as I now struggle with all my might to step into this strange new era of technology.
I find myself still resisting those tiny fancy gadgets and prefer the old fashioned telephone, instead. But thankfuly, I think I am making some headway with my computer (which terrified me at first, too).
And this makes me wonder - what strange new things are the young "whippersnappers" of today going to have to adjust to when you become "senior citizens".
IT'S SCARY!
Hi everyone! We are doing well! I am so excited about the family blog and getting to know all of you! We are the Wilkinsons and live in Draper Utah. My mother is Evelyn Pagan.
ReplyDeleteWe moved to Utah in 2000 and have been here since. As a family we have been very busy. I was called last month to be the Primary President, and we are starting thequeenbeebakingco. Two of my boys get to go on the Pioneer Trek this summer, and Summer gets to go to girls camp for her first year, which we girls are very excited about. We are just waiting for spring to arrive so we can start in on the yard work and getting our garden going, mother nature is a bit mixed up but at least the chickens knew when to start laying eggs.
Since I don't know how to post pictures on a Blog, why don't check up on my family on Facebook. Write to me at meepsmission@yahoo.com and ask to be My Friend!! See what you think. This is a great way of staying in touch with the family!! Thanks, Eva
